Course Description:
A survey of representative literary works from different genres by early
to contemporary English writers
Course Objectives:
At the end of the
semester, the students should be able to:
1. give the definition various terminology used in literature;
2. interpret literary pieces by investigating its historical
background, subject matter, author’s biography; and
3. express appreciation of the informative and entertaining value of English
literature.
